چکیده

The purpose of the current work is to study mucosa camel hard palate morphology by gross anatomy, morphometric analysis in addition light and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Ten heads freshly slaughtered camels were collected from Zagazig abattoir. selected good general condition, their ages ranged around three five years. Anatomically, was elongated it could be divided into a narrow rostral part caudal wide with about 13-14 transverse palatine ridges. dental pad crescentic thick plate at end palate. incisive papilla triangular prominence situated behind median plane surrounded shallow groove, microscopically, consisted keratinized squamous epithelium. submucosa comprised vascularized collagenous connective tissues run various directions. soft distinguished lobulated serous acini rich adipocytes.
